Hi!
(this is me, eating a cupcake from Magnolia Bakery)
I’m Kelly and I live in the concrete jungle where dreams are made of, otherwise known as Manhattan. I work at a PR firm by day, attend class for my Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics by night, and run in the wee hours of the early morning.
I love how nutrition and running are so closely related, and I’m always trying to figure out what works best for me pre-run, post-run and during a run (and make sure to share my learnings with all of you!).
A few things about me:
I’m a marathoner, am happiest when deep into a training cycle and my favorite spot to run is the bridle path in Central Park at sunrise.
I’ve been working on becoming a dietitian, as well as my Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics, for the last four years. Come early 2013, I’ll finally be able to call myself an MS, RD.
I have a twin sister, Melissa (on the right):
I love bulldogs (the wrinkly, the better!), Whole Foods, the beach, Bikram yoga, the Yankees, and Marc Jacobs.
My favorite foods are probably Greek yogurt, peanut butter and cherries. Though I’ve never met a cookie I didn’t like
Some of my favorite restaurants in NYC are Candle Cafe, Perilla, The Meatball Shop, Dos Caminos and ABC Kitchen.
Thanks so much for reading my blog! Feel free to shoot me an email (mealsformiles @ gmail dot com) or tweet me if you have any questions or just want to chat.
